I haven't, if you're in the US it might take up to two weeks since the guy is from New Zealand. I bought multiple things but haven't received any tracking numbers or anything since saturday when he said he was going to the post office. Reminds me of the time I bought from a guy, and after the deal was done he says "As soon as I get some money together for shipping, I'll send it off to you".
I said, "Then why did I give you 7 bucks for postage?" and he says "Oh yeah!"
He dragged his feet for 2 weeks, I filed a dispute, he begged me to drop it because "I'm not a scammer, I'm just lazy" I told him to fuck off.
4 days later I get the figure I bought in a plain white envelope, and postage was due.
Kept up the dispute, got the figure and shipping for free, and a reimbursement for the 7 extra bucks I had to spend on the COD charge.
Fucking fucks. This is why I don't deal with anyone other than people I trust around here.

If you're a seller, it'll be once you start getting a bunch of grief from pedantic buyers about the condition of toys, or the packing you used, or not shipping the instant the post office opens the day after they paid you, even if they took a week to get the money to you. Or have buyers open fraudulent paypal disputes because you didn't use tracking, or because they claim you didn't send them what you promised, and paypal sides with them and takes your money. You probably already get a bunch of emails from retards lowballing you and asking you to hold stuff and other unreasonable shithead demands.

If you're a buyer, it'll be because sellers backed out on you, or sold stuff out from under you, or won't ship stuff, or intended to scam you from the beginning, or shipped you something they knew was broken and lied through their teeth about. Good times.

The best story I have is from when someone on the BST was desperately looking for a certain transformer, and I emailed them saying I saw it at the store, and I'd pick it up for them if they wanted.

After I bought it, they asked me to "cut them a deal." On a figure I bought at retail and was selling them for exactly what it cost me. And then they tried to get me to pay for shipping. Now THAT'S entitlement.

Thankfully I kept the receipt.

I didn't check the NZ Post rates tool because for the better part of a decade now, I've never managed to get it to give me an accurate number (it always seems to be lower than it actually costs).

I appreciate you at least appearing to give me a chance, anon, but I promise that I'm that same person. The different photos are, not really surprisingly, different bed covers (blankets, duvets, etc.) from different times of the year (you know, depending on the temperature and such), hence the varying backgrounds. Oh, and the multi-coloured one is the bed in the spare room next to me that I store all my for-sale stuff in. The one I currently have on my bed is solid blue - not great for photos but it's the one I'll use for all the new photos. I will update the imgur album once I have taken all the photos and timestamped them. It'll take many hours but I'll get it done, so at least there's that.

I actually posted under my TFW name on here years ago but had to deal with a really angry person whom I was quite slow getting a parcel to (they should have got it, but kept accusing me of scamming them anyway - to be honest, they seemed unhinged with the types of things they sent me, but I don't know for sure), so I stopped using that name.

One of the problems I have with receipts is that if my father sends parcels for me (hey, I said I'm basement-dwelling... sort of, but I'm a grown man, just for the record), he holds onto receipts (which have the tracking numbers) and rarely remembers to give them to me unless I ask (he's pretty stupid, to be completely honest - he even used to mark parcels at their full value and not as gifts, so I've made sure that hasn't happened this time).

There, I've updated all my photos with a timestamp (two different timestamps - I used one whilst taking photos for the first hour and a bit, and then I took a break, crossed out the old one and wrote down a new one, and then did the last set of images). Also, I have not edited nor colour-corrected the images in any way (I wanted to colour-correct them, but I thought that they'd be better completely unedited, given everything that has happened)

Hopefully that is at least a start to fixing this personal disaster. I have emailed everyone who has bought from me and will be taking photos of everything during packaging and after packaging if/when I sell things here in the future, since people apparently like impersonation and bandwagoning. You know, because coming here to scream "HAHA I SCAMMED YOU" is apparently logical.

I've also included my driver's license in my photos (with my personal details covered up) so that you can at least see I have a legitimate NZ license (and the NZ Post boxes I use for shipping should also be evidence enough).

Finally, I've attached a photo of Fansproject's Tusker just to prove I do own this as well, but have decided to give it to a friend who is a big Transformers fan because it doesn't really seem worth selling from what I've seen. Oh, and I decided to keep Animated Voyager Optimus Prime as well, in case that matters to anyone. I'd like to keep a single Animated toy, is all.

Also, just as a general statement: if you're going to file a PayPal dispute with someone, at least don't flat-out lie (because someone who bought from me outright said they never authorised payments to me, and I have email correspondence saying otherwise). I'm just saying that nobody, let alone just myself, wants this sort of nonsense (and, you know, all the other nonsense from the past few days that I wish I had checked up on sooner. Lesson learnt, apparently).

It's just very unlikely for that to happen. A good custom takes considerable effort and money to make. If you put that kind of effort into a custom, it tends to be because you really wanted to make it for yourself to begin with. Even if you did decide to sell something, people probably won't even be willing to pay anywhere near what it took you.

As for buying, if you want to order one for yourself, I imagine there's professional websites for that sort of stuff.
