>>6398278While this is true, they do use the same factories, for some reason takara figures seem to have a better track record...or so it seems.
>hasbro cw skylynx has shit gestalt ratchets which require modification to get working correctly>takara uw skylynx has been largely silent report wiseBut same can be in reverse
>hasbro cw bruticus colors can be somewhat dull but functional>meanwhile takara uw bruticus has multiple small qc issues with quite a few stacked upon what should of been the crowning glory of the set, blastoffI suspect when takara gets the molds, which is normally AFTER hasbro it gives them a chance to polish qc issues, since japan (their intended audience) is smaller its resonable to assume they don't want to give out what would be a fraction to hasbro's production numbers to the land of autist in a bad way, because when they do fuck up its not another case of "oh its just cheap old hasbro" its more "I PAID HOW MUCH FOR THIS SHIT!?"
This is why I cherry pick the deco I like most, sometimes buying the same figure multiple times (I have both versions of astrotrain for example) and have a screw driver, polish, paint and a whole lot of patience
How else could I put up with pic related without that, buying transformers in general is a minefield for quality control
