I really wish buying on Bricklink could be simplified to like normal websites using crystalcommerce or something similar to Amazon or eBay.

Having to go to each individual store, having to purchase everything separately, wait for invoices, the difficulty searching for stuff can be without item numbers or knowing the correct keywords...I just want to buy some minifigs help round-out my Collection of characters, but I HAVE to use Bricklink because doing this on ebay is just impossible.

Wasn't the highest res photo but appeared to be the box art from one of the Helm's Deep sets from 2011/12....Uruk Hai scaling the walls. I loved the swords and shields they made for those sets.

I remember getting a replacement for the CMF zombiebusiness man broken suitcase, but that was a while ago.
Personally i don't mind lower mouths, gives faces character and implies different face-shapes. Eyes and mouth very low makes characters look younger, just a lower mouth makes the face look longer and more pronounced, but the face too high just looks like downs-syndrome.
I'm really glad my Dyna-mite has quite a lower face than others i've seen because mine looks way better to me.

That's probably the most fun for me. Really coming up with creative ways to incorporate obscure and strange pieces. Even if it doesn't come to you immediately, one day you'll have an eureka moment where that weird thing you bought is suddenly the finishing touch.

I'll be getting one day 1 release but I'll be waiting for Myer's regular 20% off toys sales, TRU sales, etc etc and whenever I have sufficient disposable income I think I'll try and grab a box to put on the top shelf of the closet. I doubt they'll be a huge run of these and I think once they're gone, the latecomer's tax on these is going to be fucking huge.

Yes they're expensive but buy two and when you sell the second one in 2 years time you'll almost have gotten both 'for free'.

Also, I hope Neo Honk Kong catches on for the name.

its not about this...i literally wont be able to get that much money (not everybody lives in Ameirca where you have a big house, 2 cars, 4 TVs, 5 consoles, 3 dogs, 2 quadrocopters and updating Ipad every year/throwing old one to garbage)

I guess it does add more character and uniqueness to the figure, but I just don't like the way it looks. The bottom of the mouth also gets cut off a bit when I put a helmet on it, which looks ridiculous.

As for licenced, I don't like much of them, but The Lego batman movie Joker lowrider is pretty sweet
Though if you like dragons, ninjago is surprisingly good. The Master Wu dragon (pic) is my current favorite

I was thinking of making a Moon Knight fig, and this seems like it would be a great fit. Too bad only one minifig in one set (Taskmaster) has ever had a white hood or cape.

The only time I've been to Lego store in my AFOL years (last summer) they had summer sets up on last day of May, a day before official release.

That Y-Wing is great.

Im happy that LEGO has released in just the last 2 years a modern version of all 5 Icon Rebel Starfighter designs in the X-Wing (the Resistance version and Poe's awesome custom design), the Y-Wing (with a great droid), The A-Wing (with the best Lando minifig ever), and the Millennium Falcon (sure it has the TFA radar dish, but its the best designed Falcon outside of the UCS).

Now all they need to do is release a modern B-wing and the Rebels are good to go in terms of Starfighters...I wish they'd show the same love to the Rebel Capital Ships (CR-90 Corvette, Home One, A Medium Transport), but I'll take these for now.

Now if only they can get a move on the Imperial/First Order Starfighters. The F.O.S.F Tie Fighter was great, but where is the Interceptor? The Bomber? A New Defender from Rebels? I mean, Its great we've gotten so many cool Grand Vehicles (Tank, AT-ST, Heavy Assault Walker soon, Imperial Battle Pack) but in terms of Starships...All we've been getting is Transporters, Shuttles, and the new First Order Star Destroyer coming later this year.

Give us Starships from the Original Trilogy. Hell even the Capital Ships and Starfighters from Clone Wars and Rebels could use some releases or rereleases.

Have the bountyhunter starwars set lying unopened here.
Not such a starwars fag but like space and robots and remember being intrigued by my friends Bossk figure. I managed to find this set on clearance and it seems really comfy.

Do you have any ideas for autistic lore regarding the minifigs in the set? All I have so far is that the two inmates are a classic "brains and brawn" duo.

They offset the placement of the giant gun and needed it to be secure, I guess. I'm not complaining, new parts are new parts, and this will be immensely useful. My gf and I just got done this one. There's a sticker for the strong man's cell, it's a photo of the girl who comes in the balloon for his rescue.

So it could be as much of a love story as an action one... sounds a bit mushy for prison island, but it's a great set.

I agree but only somewhat.
I saw a guy that excessively used Brickarms Double-clips in mocs to connect pieces that wouldn't otherwise go together. I would call that cheating and might as well use 2x4 Megabloks bricks instead of Basics.
But when it's minifig acessories like a gun or turret I find it ok because there just is no good way of making guns unless you accept "Exo-Force Drone arm + T-Piece + Lightsaber hilt = AK-47"

D2Cs always last at least 1,5 years, many are planned for longer. There is only a tiny number of failures and that is always license UCS shit not in minifig scale, aimed at people that would have an easier time with model kits (UCS Tumbler 1 year, UCS AOTC Jedi fighter 6 months, Grievous statue 6 months, UCS B-Wing 6 months but actually 1 year because nobody wanted to buy the fucking thing).

Put the 60145 buggy together this morning. Got him hoping to have him race against the dune buggy, but I didn't realize he'd be so much larger. I probably should have noticed from the wheels, but the size still works for me and he even fits in the dune buggy's carrier!

Export BOM in LDD, this will give you an .xslx part list. Manually add parts to BL wanted list, doing colour corrections to the model in real-time based on colour availability.

Finally dusted this old CMF display I'd made a few years ago. Stopped expanding it when my collecting slowed, so a majority of them hadn't even been touched since 2013. Now I can't bring myself to alter it cause there's memories attached to it and it would just feel wrong.

But you can't go wrong with Restaurant or Office. Bank isn't bad in a sense, but it feels bit lacking to me. Maybe it's the laundromat that's just tacked on. White and grey isn't very eyecatching color scheme either

Get the Ghost Rider set if you can still find one. It has really nice street corner with newspaper vendors and traffic lights. You'd double dip on Spideys, but it's different print altogether. Ghost Rider is also amazing fig, and then there's Hobgoblin.

And it is finally completed...the 75055 Imperial Star Destroyer. I got a really good deal on this kid, despite is being retired for quite some time now. It was brand new in the box, with the factory seals intact.

Its alittle smaller than I thought with 1300+ pieces, but damn is this thing sturdy as fuck and the handle is so greatly built into the skeleton of the entire ship, that you could swoop this thing around VERY easily from the handle and never fear that it'll break or anything.

And here is an inside look at the Imperial Star Destroyer.

All the minifigs you see came with the kit, with the exception of the Grand Admiral Thrawn minifig. I figured that despite being alittle deeper into the time line, Thrawn made sense to be inside a Star Destroyer, potentially talking to Vader and Palpatine than he would on a First Order Star Destroyer or really any other Imperial Capital Ship or Station/Playset.

Bought a Creator set Detective's Office and put it away sealed but am so torn to build it. I usually build the sets as intended, then tear into them with some mods of my own. I was hoping to keep this possibly as an investment, but who am I kidding. I'll probably never sell a brick.

For right now, your best bets are the Battle Suits from the current Nexo Knights wave, since they're cheap and have great parts in them.

If those don't interest you, the upcoming Ninjago Movie sets have plenty of them, so it's probably worth waiting until August to fulfill your Mech-related needs.

I meant the Star Destroyer, but yeah...Rebels, currently, is like 2-3 years before RO/ANH now going into Season 4.

So unless Thrawn gets murdered, he could still be behind the scenes, but Im sure he'll survive Season 4 of Rebels so they can use him for future projects and Galaxy of Heroes stuff.

The old 5 high doors can't fit like half of my minifigures. If a figure has hair/hats and an accessory around the neck or even the new hip accessories like pouches or a tail they quickly get too tall for them to fit.
The creator ones like i used in pic related are pretty much non-functional for everything.

Some really dislike it but i mostly don't mind.
If you read them as the torso being more tapered there as opposed to a sharp cut-off line denoting the sylhouette it looks more natural. There are examples where the colours used have such contrast and the curves are angled so extreme that it looks very silly though. Most notorious examples being the old knights kingdoms cuirass and the even older castle corset style dress torsos. The last instance where i thought it looked bad was the lego batman movie Magpie torso.

Yeah my mistake.
I checked with some of the 80's doors that twist around the top and bottom studs and you are right that they fit most tall hair pieces, hip accessories and neckbrackets. The doorpiece used in the pic you replied to has less space because of the frame being a a plate+ at the bottom and about a plate at the top.
I must say i prefer the look of the taller new doors, but i guess it all depends on the proportions of the building they're used in.
