>>6429589I love how so many people are getting the hoods wrong to look like this. I understand that's the path of least resistance but you guys are still super silly.
I got my lot of ninjas today. Unlike the other guy I actually really like Shibito. I've only opened a few because I'm "fixing" them as I go (Making the hips be able to move, fixing stuck joints etc) and have found a few things.
1. My shibito's hair just wont come off. I'm not too upset because I want him to keep it, but that's something.
2.I have some derpy eyes on several of my figures. Some of their eyes are perfect which was a surprise and some are sort of "meh".
3. The hoods don't sit exactly how I'd like them to, but I'm sure if I took hot water to them and held them in place it'd help. They do have slightly off paint (The two blues I opened) than the body. Have not opened my black or reds yet.
4.Pretty heavy paint blockage/chipping in the neck area, as well as my samurai outlaw having some weird coloration on his neck (It's out of sight with the head). I can assume a lot of neck breaking from the paint blocking there. Similar to NECA, if anyone has dealt with that before they know the drill.
Overall I'm happy I got them, however I can definitely agree that the paint slop on the faces (Huge deal to me), the stuck joints, and the price point are some huge cons. I hope the guys at the fwoosh keep things a bit more locked down if they do another wave of figures. Otherwise they are pretty neato. I would post pics but I was messing with them from 5-9 so I lost my daylight. I'll try to throw some up tomorrow.
