it's not really hard at all. A lot of masking. A reference image helps a lot.

If you think about it, an airbrush was designed to AVOID this, so it's super simple to do it.

I bought the companion Kakarot statue but I have absolutely no information about it - brand, line, production, anything.

Can anybody tell me anything? Availability, price ranges and so forth because I really, really want the Vegeta that goes with it. The paint job is sexy as fuck.

It is mimicking Toriyama's painting style you see from some colored title pages in the Manga. I believe he used copic like pens, dissolve the ink in water and used a brush to paint.
