For me to be dishonest would be to IGNORE the fact that SOTA was selling to a wide chain of stores like Sam Goody, Suncoast, FYE, Electronic Boutique, Software Etc, and comic shops throughout the US. Same as NECA, Mezco, etc.
That's roughly ten thousand retail stores ordering multiple cases.

That Hasbro/NECA/Mezco arent employing factories year round to produce these toys to get a discount so that they're only $20-25?
To be intellectually dishonest would be you saying that 4H/MGR/BFS/Fwoosh are all conspiring together to charge rip off prices.
If anyone was ripping anyone off would be Hasbro charging as much as they do. They sell way way more than Mezco/NECA/etc do and they're extremely cheap with producing new bodies, having good QC, and not putting in more articulation.
But they have their stock holders to worry about and needing to streamline everything to produce higher profits every year.
McFarlane showed us that high QC, a shitload of articulation, tons of paint apps, and new molds every wave is very profitable.
To be intellectually dishonest would be to ignore what other companies are producing and for how much. Again, if 4 Horsemen, Marauder Gun Runners, Boss Fight Studio, etc are charging as much as they do, it's because that's how much their toys need to be. And they all charge about as much as Fwoosh did.
