>>6452544>>6452570I've been on this board nearly since Play Arts began (the line started shortly before /toy/ was founded) and I've watched it change and grow over time. It got really weird and bad when it made the jump to Kai, and it never did quite dig itself out of some of those problems. Despite that, I have (and still do) owned quite a few of them.
Bring Arts looks okay, and does represent S-E finally listening to one of the biggest criticisms of PAK--the bizarre scale. But the sculpt is merely alright. The face is better than their nightmarish previous Soras, but it's not great, and the sculpt is a bit soft and doughy in general, especially in the hair. It probably would have looked a little better if Bandai hadn't just showed up to the party with a phenomenal Sora sculpt. Yeah, it's not from the same game, I know, but it blows Bring Arts out of the water purely on a quality level.
Also, this might just be a personal thing, but the semi-gloss finish on the BA looks cheap and nasty. Wish they would just use a nice flat topcoat for things like this.
