The peg hole shrank! What to do?

Hi everyone! So, I just took my Venom Snake PAK from its box and it's been quite a while since the last time I took him off. The figure was all stiff and after I removed its head to fix the position of the neck, the head doesn't enter the hole of the neck! I tried to force a little bit, and the edges of the peg hole of the neck seem to be pushed down! What should I do?

May be hot there, but gotta get that plastic soft.

Drop head in shallow cup/bowl of super hot water (as hot as you can handle being able to pick it up with your bare fingers is a good temp).

Pull it out, dry it off quick (you can blow in the peg hole to get out water inside).

Lube up the peg or hole with some mineral oil or sewing machine oil. It won't take much.

If you find that the peg itself is too soft and is bending (rather than just moving at the joint), then yes.

But if you get the hole soft enough and use a little lubricant, you should hopefully avoid that problem altogether and not need to worry.

This is how the hole looks like now! On the right draw the light yellow part is the bit where its was pushed down.I manage to conect the peg, but it doesn't stay like it was before. I'll try to cave in and push the plastic up, so the border turn like it was before!

It didn't work friend. The peg connects, but it doesn't stay for too long. The head fell of just now!

So it sits on there very loosely after you finally got it back in?

Try removing as much of the lubricant as you can, if it's still on there, and maybe trying cooling off the head now.

Not quite sure how that pushed in lip is affecting things, if at all, without a picture of the peg and hole.

Other resort is to get the hole hot and soft again, put it on the peg, then dunk it in some really cold water while you're squeezing the around the hole (however you can manage to apply that pressure) to try and get it to harden up while in a tight fit.

I'd take a pic, but my phone is off. I believe it's affecting, it doesn't even do that "clic" sound of connecting, you know?

I managed to put the peg back in the hole. The thing is that it doesn't get in like it was before. If I try to rotate the head, I have to hold the head and the neck to avoid getting out. At least It gets to connect!
