These look a little dumb anyway, im spoiled by the Halo figs. They are truly a masterpiece of articulation and customization.

I really like the destiny ones, but there are some elemnts that i dont like (fabric, rubber skirts draping off the characters), and I dont have any attachment to the source material

Okay, for real now. This thing is stellar. The build itself gets a bit repetitive, but the final result looks fantastic. If you only want one set of the lot, this would be the one. If Mega can push more towards this quality, then I'm hopeful for future sets with the license.

Well, mega had a huge display on the new york toy fair, called "beyonders", fans loved it and now mega has confirmed that we're getting a "rover" as the first set in december 2017.

The rover that was on the beyonders display is pic related.

I'm a big fan of the 'diorama' part on this one, actually. It's simple, but the finished product looks quite nice. Even with minimal detail, it feels very "Pokémon", if that makes any sense.

He's good. I had a couple photos in the previous thread as well, take a look. His design is far easier to adapt to brick-form than the others. Though size plays a factor, seeing as Wartortle looks pretty great too.

That looks like it might be McFarlane blocks. McFarlane put out the Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead construction sets. It also might just be a knock off or something.

I don't think Mega has ever had the Lord of the Rings license, that's always been Lego.

I'd only bought Legos as a child (then an adult) and then I bought a couple Halo blind bags and I have to say Mega has changed a lot and their quality is much higher. Their figures are highly articulated and very customizable. I've been blown away.

I bought the banished brute Ghost set and desu the Ghost was a little flimsy and oversized compared to the characters.

I found Blue Team for the first time at Walmart today, $25 Cdn sucks but I seriously doubt I'll ever find it better here. They also had a box of Heroes S4, got the ones I was missing.

Feels like Mega is being marginalized around here, Walmarts have really shrunk their shelf space for it, TRU hasn't had much lately and few other places even carry any.

Could you just fill the last two spaces on the inner part of the knee with a single stud and then flip the feet the other way. That way the legs can only collapse so far so it can always stand at a specific height just from the pieces touching.

I've definitely become a fan. But it's for the mini figures more than anything else, so I wouldn't be one to buy the bigger sets but I'm really enjoying the mini figures, their improvements over the years, and the selection.

I've been using these organizers from Dollarama ($3 Cdn a pop) to store my CoD figs, the four are just enough to hold them all so far. Decided today I'd do the same for my Halo figs, went out and bought 9 of them which as it turns out is about 6 short of what I need. Finally made it. The honor guard is cooler than i expected, and i thought the blue spartan armor was meh til i got a demarco while waiting for these. Hoya looks great.

The helioskrill has a lot of blackish mixed in eith its bright orange armor which is sort of a bummer. Doesnt matter though. Getting a hero brute and an honor guard will add a lot of diversity to my dosplay, I have too many good guys

What does Mattel have as far as in house licenses? I know there's Max Steel they can put in the line with a villain, Psycho maybe? If they have to resort to Big Jim I don't see the line lasing long.

This is the only set I got, plus the blind bags that gave me these figs and red and green ranger. I only did it for muh nostalgia, but I didn't think these were cool enough to keep collecting. I collect a ton of the halo figs though

I actually liked the kubros. I only have the aliens ones though, but they're good to have in the desk and fiddle.

I too hoped that once they got the license, they released sets. This alien and colonial marine are good for starters and for army building.

That's how I felt until I got the ww2 jeep. Now I'm hunting down ww2 troop packs and that legends set. Fucking mega, once they get you, they have you by the balls.
