>>6470435I don't think Luke Cage was as popular as Daredevil or Jessica Jones, for one thing. People liked it more than Iron Fist, but still.
Then again maybe the Man-Thing wave was pushed out earlier than would allow for them to have made Netflix Luke and Danny, and they were able to make comic versions of Bullseye (who at least fits in with the half-Daredevil lineup) and Blade (who doesn't fit at all) with Man-Thing parts (for some reason) much more quickly because the faces don't have to be """realistic""".
Or maybe the 3 Netflix Daredevil figures were originally going to come out some other way, like a box set that would've come out in conjunction with Season 2, and Netflix Jessica would've been a store exclusive, but they aborted those plans for budgetary or market forecast reasons.
But again, it could've just been based on the popularity of the shows and nothing more. I just think it's odd for a wave to be four Netflix-specific likeness figures and then two standard comic figures, with a seemingly arbitrary BAF choice.
Also I think rereleasing that Comic-con exclusive RAFT Purple Man would've been a better fit over Blade, and Jessica would have someone to fight.
