So does anyone know why this fad came and went so fast? I know the answer people are going to say is because they're just shit toys and don't do much to keep interest, but it seems to me like some really shitty toys were popular for much longer in the past.

I actually dont have a spinner yet. all of them either looked cheap (from dollar store) or too expensive to buy a stupid crap that all can do is spin
