It went from being an entirely red and orange bot with two small white highlights on its head, to having significant areas of white distributed across its entire body (most glaringly on its arms). The head now has "horns," and the shoulder pylons are now black with red highlights, mimicking Unit 01's.
Since Unit 02 has a slightly cleaner design, especially in the torso, you might be able to see the changes more clearly here. Rebuild is much more angular, and the segments are very flared out and separated, unlike the original, whose body looks sort of like a segmented tube or cable.
