This figure was so fucking good. One of my favorites of the entire ToyBiz run, even if I didn't care about the character at all. Really nice sculpt and articulation and just a joy to pose and play with.

It's pretty amazing that it was retooled from Man-Thing, cause the shared parts between the two are almost unrecognizable aside from their builds. Also, sorta unrelated, but I think this Man-Thing is one of the finest sculpts Toy-Biz ever did, and it blows the new one out of the water in my opinion. The key is variety--there are so many different textures and details going on here, and the new one just has too much same-y grass-looking texture.

He's been drawn differently by different artists over the years, and yes, in some depictions he is more lean and lanky. Most of the time he is huge and hulking though.

There's presumably 2 more figures, if Lizard is 6 pieces (arm, arm, leg, leg, body, head).

The other rumored ones were Spidey Noir, Modern Spider-Woman, Demogoblin, and Prowler. Those four were all in the leaked list. Lasher was never on any of the rumored listings though.

I want to put bearded Peter Parker's head (from the Cosmic Spider-Man pack) on a Spiderman figure with the normal red and blue costume (could be other Spider-Man variants, but I'm mainly looking for R&B). Which Spider-Man mold has a neck/peg that can hold bearded Parker's head?

If you can score it for $20 go for it. I got mine and Cap for $13 each and Deadpool for $30 I feel like I overpaid at 30. But for retail I say forget it. I REALLY want the black suit Spidey but fuck paying $50 whatever Target wants for it.

my target wants 59.99 for it. I wouldn't pay more than 20 for these. Maybe if they make characters that are actually large like giant man or a sentinel they'd get some crazy sales going on, but making just a larger scale legends line was stupid. I had the original toybiz galactus along with a bunch of other earlier legends figures but then I moved and was "done with toys". Gave them away. I regret that a ton since I got sucked back in when "return of marvel legends" was out.

Revoltech, no question. It's actually based on a comic design without a load of unnecessary added detail, and it will surely be the most articulated since it doesn't have cloth to hinder it.

Look I'd prefer it being 100% comic accurate too, but as far as the marvel One:12s go, this is easily the best besides Punisher. I only have two Mezco figs, Dredds' ankles are shit and Batfleck has shit ab-crunch. QC issues have turned me off the line anyhow.

I've gotten in the habit of fixing small QC issues on plastic figures myself(paint touchups, fixing loose or tight joints). Can't do shit about it when the problem is covered in cloth or is the result of bad stitching.

That one isn't amazing, but it's a huge step up from the first movie version and the old BAF. The Figuarts will probably the best version, but I doubt it'll be enough of an improvement to warrant paying four times as much for it - higher price to begin with + middleman fees (gotta love those TamaWeb exclusives) + shipping = one expensive trash panda.

Yet people need to really hammer at other lines to try and justify paying 2-5x more for their toys. Pretty sad.

Personally, i have no problem admitting toys like this are worth the money, but i like em because of that extra attention to detail.

he's alright.... I'm a bit disappointed with his range of head articulation, though. doesn't go back far enough so if you want to him do a crouching position while looking up it doesn't really work. Frank is the best of the wave IMO.

Pop the head off and see if the neck hinge goes all the way back? Also, keep in mind you have to shift the head forward on the ball a little bit so the back of the helmet will clear the collar.

What's the big deal if it does? Mine does 3 just fine, but when I turn the head left or right (as in the fourth image) it does come off the ball a little. It's not going anywhere, though, and since the head is soft rubber it'll reset itself with rest when you return it to a neutral position.

My DD has a little bit of a weird arm, but other than that he's pretty great once you get used to his range of motion and general appearance, one of my personal favorite Legends.

Elektra is also pretty good all around, but her ponytail/hair piece popped off the masked head right out of the box and the other one feels a bit loose as well. Really love the paint on her, too, great likeness to the actress.

I don't have any pictures, and don't have my pizza spidey anymore but when I did test the ultimate spidey hands on pizza spidey. they fit, but looked sort of small. Not super noticable.

DESU if they just did a couple of assortments of core Joe and Cobra characters in 6" scale as a premium release along the lines of the 40th Star Wars figures they'd probably pull a profit. And they could totally reuse molds from Marvel Legends figures to kickstart it. Nuke could be turned into Roadblock, parts of the Netflix Punisher could Be converted to bits of Duke or someone, and Elektra/Mary Jane/Jessica Jones could be a good start on Scarlet and Lady Jay. Not saying that extensive of mold re-use is a great idea, but it's probably what would happen.

Well, it's 90s Cable and 90s Deadpool. At least if there's variation in the suit, I'm fine with it personally -- but it /is/ a Deadpool wave for a reason. It's like having a Spiderman or Captain America wave without either Spiderman or Cap.

is any indication but if so I think he's sporting some new arms too. They look much thicker here. On the grey prototypes they look thinner but then there seems like maybe arm hair in the sculpt. And the Wolvie in the background is also sporting those bigger arms of the beige proto.

The only thing that really bothers me is the feet. At least this is just the second reuse of the superior venom tentacles, as opposed to them sticking a carnage backpack on him like they did with toxin.

The figure does look like his Thunderbolts costume. It's not perfect but it's close. It certainly though doesn't look like his clasic outfit that's on the comic cover in the panel slide.

She's already had the baby, but for a while she kinda was. She wasn't supposed to be and her friends made her promise she wouldn't but she got bored and went out a few times and also just found herself in trouble occasionally. They made her this special baby bump armor so she'd keep the baby safe as though that makes it any less ridiculous.

So we have three new effect parts. Honestly, Hasbro is starting to make Marvel Legends actually worth $20 a pop. You get a decent base figure with 2 heads, multiple hands, an effect piece, and a piece to build another character. We're only missing some good paint application and less part reuse away from having a fantastic line at an affordable price

I find myself liking Cyclops more as an adult actually. Not even talking about the meme Rightclops either. I mean straight laced boy scout Slim. Like take that episode arc from TAS as a great example.

Wolverine gets pissy about Morph, which is fair he was the only guy who could make him laugh and lashes out punching the guy who saved the rest of his team. He then proceeds to go sulk in a pool hall.

Cyclops however, burdens himself knowing he left his man behind, had to make a hard call to save the others and complete the mission and while Wolverine is off sulking he's finding where the Sentinel base is and already planning how to shut them down.

But wolverine is the badass.

I feel like this is huge part of it. When I was a kid wolverine was the badass who didn't do what the grown-ups told him, and cyclops was the asshole in charge with all the rules. Now, wolverine comes off as more of an asshole and scott's just the guy trying to do his job.

I've always love Cyclops even as a kid. Before it was because I love his Laser eyes and how he was the Leader, but when I grew up and got into comic books, I see he's someone who deeply cares about his people and has lost a lot but kept going. And I don't really meme with the whole Rightclops thing the past 5 years, beyond going crazy with Phoenix power, I never saw him as someone who was in the wrong. He always had honorable motives behind his actions.
