I totally started to like Magneto and Cyclops as an adult. Wolverine isn't a leader. He's good and messing people up and slashing stuff. Cyclops was supposed to have left a deadman behind too. I like morph, but censorship stopped them from killing him. Wolverine wanted to go back and try and save him, the open endedness of the show and bringing morph back makes wolverine right. Cyclops though, man. I do appreciate him now.

I don't think you can really call yourself right in hindsight. Based on the information at the time Cyclops could only make the best call he could. That call saved everyone else even if it meant leaving Morph behind. Morph turning out to be alive in the end doesn't change the fact that had they stayed they'd have all died.

Talked to Dwight at Hasbro about them today. There's a guy on their team that loves to retool/create customs just for the displays. They LOVE these type of reactions though when we're all trying to figure out when the figures get released. It honestly isn't being released. They just do it for the display. Its AIM experimenting on one of their own.

I don't know. mostly because theres this part of me that still thinks Man-Thing and Sasquatch don't reuse any of the same mold. theres way to many vines, and leaves in the sculpt for Man-Thing. I mean I know looking at the two that they are the same figure but there are so many differences that it feels like they aren't.

But then again I don't really know much about the whole process of making molds and reusing/changing them.

It's not for mold re-use, because the hole is only in the rubber part that covers the main body, and there's no real reuse they can get out of that bit unless they were planning to go super obscure and release a figure of Glob, which is never happening, and also wouldn't really explain it.

Everyone talking about the differences and similarities between Man-Thing and Sasquatch might have something there. Man-Thing's upper torso is actually a hard plastic inner with a soft rubber outer shell. Peeling back the rubber a bit, the inner part of the upper torso has grooves in it to keep the rubber portion in-place.
So it's entirely possible that they share the same underlying frame/sculpt with different rubber outers.

However, that still doesn't change the fact that the rest of the Man-Thing mold is uniquely sculpted and molded to fit that character.

I'd say outside of headsculpt it's the best Hobgoblin. And even then, the headsculpt still looks fine as long as you adjust the hood so his forehead doesn't show. As long as the tip of the hood reaches the bridge of his nose, you're good. Definitely recommended. The glider is also small but finding spare goblin gliders loose isn't so hard in my experience.

I know how to make t-shirts, I'd still rather buy them from people good at making them.

Not that anon, but lately I've been thinking of making cosmic cube/tesseracts using resin and glow in the dark powder, I think it could come out looking very nice but I also worry about materials. Like, I worry that if I find a resin that's resistant to yellowing it'll also filter out so much UV light that the powder won't ever react. Or, if I go with something that doesn't yellow, like polyester or polyurethane, I have to deal with the huge headache (sometimes literally, I hear) of working with that instead of something easier like epoxy.

The torso's articulation is probably the best of any of the female Legends I have. Which makes the limited hips and the absolute dogshit elbows all the more disappointing.

This looks pretty good. I have only three real complaints:

- I wish he'd come with an alternate calm face. I don't want my Apocalypse perma-snarling.

- Elbow range looks like absolute trash-- In fact, it looks like his left elbow is bent to the maximum already. Why is it that so many BAFs don't have double elbows?

- Ankle range looks similarly bad, with how shallow they cut the socket and how close the ankle guards are. But we'll see.

I just hope they don't use the old trenchcoat body on Jamie. I can't stand another figure on that buck. Hasbro needs to make a new one made from a more flexible plastic. They can always reuse it later on the inevitable Gambit or even a new Punisher.
