OP it doesn't matter how generic you think it looks. As long as someone manufactured it as an original design they own the copyright. (Not counting some old shit that has since become public domain)
If you're doing it as a free project, you'll likely fly under the radar, but if you use the video to make money or promote something that makes you money, you're opening yourself up to legal claims.
The big question is if they are willing to spend money to drag you to court. Dealing with legal bs will drain your wallet even if you might have a case.
Best and safest is to do some custom shit to a base figure. eg, Spending some cash on getting a new sculpted / 3D head printed will save you thousands in possible legal fees later.
