>>6536923>/asp/>I think. I never go there.Don't. /asp/ is, objectively, one of the worst shitholes in this chan. The problem is that wrestling always attracted a lot of shitposters, because is a mix of sports and television (and everybody knows /sp/ and /tv/ are some of the worst boards too), and /asp/ was a small community that didn't spend that much time on here. You know? The defining trait of /asp/ was that most or all participants were practitioners, and those who couldn't prove they actually train, were scorned. You could watch jackie chan films all day long, the instant you try to talk about X or Y technique, people would notice and made fun of you.
Obviously, few people train 'alternative' sports (either martial arts, or parkour, or airsoft, or whatever), so they are not even close to /fit/ numbers of regulars users, and those few persons spend part of their time outside actually practising their hobbies (plus regular duties like having a job or family) rather than shitposting on a japanese animation imageboard.
Obviously, they never had a chance against the autism that came along with wrasling. Not because pro-wrestling was bad on itself, but because the "fans" were actually shitposters who found a board that couldn't defend against their raid for the reason exposed above.
In other words, when Hiro moved wrestling from /sp/ to /asp/, was like moving prisoners with mental health problems into a primary school.
Airsoft threads are still a thing on /asp/, and are like one of the five or four regular threads that aren't meme posting. Sometimes they are not even about wrasling, just memes.
