Also, the company that makes figma and nendos usually only make figures of characters from popular franchises (especially for figmas now). If Kobayashi was a lot more popular during its season then they would've had a better chance at getting figures.
Also, maybe KyoAni has stringent licensing, or companies aren't attracted to KyoAni's franchises because they're usually very singular to the company (like they make anime from their own LN licenses and from manga coming from small publishers).
