Cut the shitposting talk about Transformers instead. What was your very first figure and did you enjoy it at the time? Pic related was mine, basic as hell as far as McDonalds stuff goes but I remember sort of falling in love with the concept of transforming robots thanks to it.

If you mean on a cinematic level then sure, it does look more promising than any Michael Bay film. From an economical standpoint though, I very much doubt it, Transformers seem to be slowly fading back into pop culture obscurity again. And I don't think we'll ever get well-painted toys again either.
