defect when something gets molded incorrectly or pegs/holes dont exist.
This is a very new condition spring.
Made of steel. A spring made of steel.
New springs made of steel tend to be very strong and tight.
You can remember that when you had that feeling after buying a new matrass for your bed. When springs made it feel like you lying on a wooden floor.
But after some working out springs became loose and matrass felt comfier.
It never was an issue before because we never had such a bigass toy that needed a very thick big springs in its joints.
Usually we were getting smaller toys with thinner springs so it never was an issue. Now we have a steel of more thicker size so it needs some time to "work out" and become loose like those new springs in your matrass.
You just need to take the spring out and work it out by using your hands or just putting it on a table and put some heavy books or a stone brick on it.
No need to cut it in half.
Not to mention after some time (1-2 years) the spring will work itself out due to being old. And spring that was cut in half will be a very big ussie because its lenght will not be enough.
You can mark my words on that.
Its very normal for steel springs being such a pain at the start of their usage. You just need to give them some time, to work them out.
Also my english is not good so my text might sound weird with all those "big thick working out" bullshit kek.
