The best you can do is buy a ton of shit for a short feeling of accomplishment and/or buying overpriced shit to feel superior to people on /toy/.

They're great but some people have issue with the joints. True they can be finicky but if you're not constantly playing with them they hold up fine. And if you're patient you can wait till Kotobukiya releases their Frame Arms Girl version of Sylphy. Should be much more playable

This is the truest truth in this whole thread. And BELIEVE me... I bought a fuck ton of stuff in the last 2 years. Several Sideshow statues, Hot Toys figures, action figures - u name it. Everything gives u a short feeling of happiness but it goes away oh so quickly and, if u don't have piles of cash just lying around, it gets replaced by worry that you're just spending money and getting nowhere. Get your shit together first and then, only then, get yourself some stuff u like. Pic is my temporary (and failed) escape

Model kits help extend that feeling for quite a bit. You get lots of hours of enjoyment from the process of building and customizing it and get a super posable figure in the end. Plus you get a feeling of improvement as your skill grows. And they're cheap!

I haven't built a model in years and i haven't painted anything in about a year.

i'd post a picture of my unbuilt kits taking up an entire closest, but that's just too much effort.

BTW, i enjoy playing with my toys and models. Daily.
