AoE is a good "point-marker" for the moment when it all started going downhill, actually. There were a couple of good molds in there but god, you can't imagine how shit it is to live in Portugal and see nothing but tons of useless kiddie fast transformation figures plastering every single store without a single Deluxe or Voyager in sight.

Kinder Surprise.
Back in 90-00s it hat super detailed and complicated toys. Even mechanical ones that used different types of mechanisms. It was mindblowing for a kid to see such a tiny thing being so complicated

Now Kinder Surprise has utter trash inside.
Judging by photos Happy Meal in USA went to shit just like that. Back then it was a quality toy and now some garbage. Sometimes they dont even put toys in boxes like Ninjago Lego Movie happy meals

This shit is the worst part about new Figmas, the boxes having similar designs between figures from the same show was great. I wouldn't mind a standardized box design for future Figmas if it were an actually interesting design, but flat black+a color and white text is the most boring thing imaginable. At least make it kinda interesting like old Revoltech boxes.
