This only makes it more ironic nowdays that they owe their success to licensed products.
Unfortunately, it does seem that probuilder is the best thing theyve ever had regarding non military themed products (even then most probuilder was military stuff).
That being said, they really fill every niche Lego doesnt. They are quite good for making mocs with; keeping in mind camo colours will restrict you to military/ space builds. Contrary to the stereotype of mega bloks using large premade pieces; mega bloks sets these days come with a ton of small, basic pieces which can be mixed with specialized pieces (only the larger specialized pieces like a vehicle roll cage or a banshee cockpit truly has poor utility) for great effect.
