Do you guys ever get anxiety over your collection. Like that it isn't consistent with theme or too big?

I've gotten better at impulse purchasing, I only buy things I know I really like. But often times I pre-order something I have no care for by the time it's close to release. I wouldn't normally pre-order, but with things like Figmas they sell out pretty quickly depending on the character.

Do they not? I see pictures on /toy/ and they usually share a theme or are of a single character or something. Mine is pretty chaotic, it's mostly just of characters from all kinds of media I like. From video games, to horror movies to anime I've got all kinds of shit. Although I really don't have to display them all, I feel like if I don't then they're not really part of my collection.

Feel out and do what you want with how you display your toys. Most people do have displays for series/companies/franchises/genere's but there's no set rules.

Maybe too big, but that only comes up when I have to move. Realistically it can all fit in like 5 boxes, and that's including all the import packages I still have. So it's no more burdensome to move than, say, my computer equipment.

As for consistency, no. There's nothing anxiety-inducing on that front. I still have some Marvel junk and Neca crap looming around that I bought when I had no direction in my purchases, but that all is contained in one small box now.

I mostly get anxious over being unable to expand it to more lines. I want to collect Figuarts at random but I can't afford a bunch of them per month, I want to collect figmas but I can't stomach paying for them, I want to jump into gunpla but the shipping is awful with those, I want to try some of the old mech revoltechs like Black Ox they still cost me so it just discourages me, I want to try 3P transformers but they have pretty steep prices to just do it at leisure.

Other than that, I can't fucking ignore small defects once I find them in a figure and HasTak Transformers lately have been a pain in the ass on that regard.

Not really. There is a line I wish I got a few more figures from and probably track them down in the future but otherwise I'm fine. I just wish I bought less impulse shit.

I dork out over my Black Series collection. I started collecting Imperials from the "Classic" era of the canon(episodes IV-VI, and Rogue One).

Then, I saw Gree, and said "well, he was shown trying to kill Yoda, so he's Imperial enough." The same logic went to the Clone Trooper set, as they're all wearing Phase II armor.

My First Order trooper, Kylo Ren, and Guavian, on the other hand, are shunned and stashed in a Star Wars tin lunchbox.

I have 2 Titanfall titans that I can't fit in my display case. They are stable but I dread that while I'm at work they'll just dive off my dresser. Looking into getting another display case just for them. Also any sideshow collectibles that decide to leap off the top of my display case kills me
