I have one other friend who collects as hard as I do, but he plays with the big bucks. He'll get the smaller scale stuff but he focuses on Hot Toys and big statues. He's an impulse buyer and always wants the newest, coolest stuff so it's not uncommon to see whatever statue/toy he got six months ago up for sale to make room for something else. Whatever though, he puts in the work to haggle/bargain with people in the area and he's always trading or selling. He's a cool dude.
My other friend gets a figure or two from whatever he's into at the time but only at a rate of like, three or four a year. His collection is small but he takes really good care of it.
My other close friends don't collect but they're into the shit I'm into and are always psyched to see something new pop up in my collection. Most everyone else I know has Funkos somewhere, and I know a girl who is crazy into Nendoroid but I don't know her all that well and haven't ever seen her collection.
