I'm buying a Hot Toys vehicle from a Hong Kong seller and the seller is apprehensive about shipping it because the mail service required the full price of the invoice. He thinks the price would have me pay a customs charge, so he's looking into other options(he was goign to use SF express). However, I've been ordering imports consistently for 3 years now, and while my most expensive one was about $500 so far(though Private warehouse shipments from HLJ may have been more), I've never paid custom fees or any sort of charge. this particular shipment would be around $1000. My question is if US buyers get any sort of import fees at all sinceI've yet to and am starting to believe it just isn't a thing here. Has anyone in the US gotten hit by a import fee?
