Yes, it's a solid figure and the glowing eye feature looks really good. only downsides are the spikes on him are actually really sharp and I've cut my hands on it. And the shield is difficult to get on his arm, you need to take the hand off than put the arm your the strap then put the hand back on and juggling all that while forcing the hand into the joint without scratching the paint is a hassle.

How well is he built? Really sturdy or are there some parts I should worry about possibly breaking in the future?

I like him a lot; only problem I had with him are the ball joints in his ankles not being super strong, so he'd fall over in more dynamic poses until I put some surface polisher on them. Even then I'm still scared that he might fall over sometimes :X

Yes he is worth it, buy him before he becomes super rare and expensive like most Berserk merch. It's great to have someone to pose Guts with.

pretty well, the only issue I've seen with mine is that putting the weapons in the hands and removing them is annoying without a blow dryer handy. Also the instructions warn you to be careful with the pauldrons

I know that's why I didn't buy them. I'd have been all over Void for about $100, maybe even $120.

Slan didn't turn out that great so I don't think I'd break $50-60 for her.

I pre-ordered the repaint of this but I'm a little worried. I heard the original has some fragility issues (specifically the wrists?) but overall the figure's good.

Is this a common issue or was that just a select few cases? And is there a chance that issue will be fixed in this version or is it STRICTLY a repaint of the exact same mold?

the wrist pegs are thin but they won't outright break on you unless you jerk the hands around when posing it. It is a repaint of the old mold but from what I've seen its really just a reprint since the old one in hand looked dirt-caked

The cape is absolute dogshit, and the faces for the original run were pretty bad. The face was redone for this one, but who knows if it'll be any better. The cape is the same though. This reviews pretty bad, but it shows off the cape well. https://youtu.be/pdcAbAPju1k?t=257

Overall, if the new faces turn out good, and you're willing to forgo the cape, or make a custom one, it'll be a decent figure.

I have the RAH black swordsman and it's my 2nd favorite figure. Great articulation, they made some smart choices with how they did the armor for the legs. I also prefer the RAH face sculpt over the threezero. Only issue I had, is that the cape bleeds. I had to wash his cape because the black dye was rubbing off on his neck.

When did Guts actually look like this? Specifically the pants. I always remembered the black swordsman outfit having armored boots and kneepads, even before the first outfit change.
