For one, Figma doesn't touch any characters similar to Mythic Legions. The closest they've come is the Black Knight from dark souls and that isn't a great generic knight, it's pretty strongly stylized. Wish they would have started with Oscar. Mostly they just make anime girls, so they don't really have the same audience as ML at all.
They also have visual issues. Figma always look incredibly flat. No matter what figure it is, it's always painted in flat colors, which works fine if it should look like anime, but looks stupid for anything else. Id like to clarify that I don't think Figma paint is bad (it's quite good, though it runs off on everything), just ill-suited for most things. Meanwhile, though their paint may be flawed sometimes, ML paint usually has some depth to it, with a wash bringing out the armor's details. I think this works better for knights.
They also make their figures tiny.
Figmas have a very specific niche in making figures of anime characters or characters with flat-colored surfaces. They don't really work for bigger characters and anything with a more dirty look to it.
It's also impossible to ignore the price difference. 30 bucks for the named non-legion-builder figures isn't that bad for a line made by a small company.
