>>6612286Alright so I got Thor. Went through around 20 and couldn't find any without some flaws. I was planning on giving him some paint so I didn't mind too much though.
Anyways, first thing I do when I get him out is take a look at the range in his legs. On the left leg the "skirt" piece snaps when I gently move his leg. Actually snaps. The left side was much thinner than the right, so maybe mine was defective, idk. Either way, I superglue that back, and hopefully it stays when it dries. The right one didn't have any issue. Those pieces are much harder than I expected, and hinder the movement quite a bit. The piece will let the leg get to about 45º forward, and about 45º outwardly as well. The knees go to about 30º, but can rotate freely. The ankles have good upward and downward movement.
The arms can rotate freely only stopped by the cape. The arms can almost go perpendicular to the body. The elbows get just under 90º, and can rotate. The wrists can go all around and have fairly good inward wrist articulation (sadly not up and down for the hammer hand).
The head is on a ball peg and has very limited range due to the hair. And he has a waist swivel. Mjolnir is fairly rubbery, but not to a ridiculous degree. It's also quite hard to get it into his hand but is very sturdy when it's in there. The hand is not pliable at all, but as far as I can see it didn't damage the hammer at all.
He does feel smooth, like an almost felt feeling. So I like the figure, it's definitely a fun little figure. The part snapping was really odd, and I'm pretty sure it was just bad luck on my end. If you have any questions or want scale pics or whatever let me know and I'll try to get some up as soon as I can.
