>>6619607That's because they usually come in close enough colors, and they're little sons of bitches to get anything done with anyway. But with these, I'm gonna have to paint them to look right no matter what, so I might as well have some fun with them.
I've grown too attached to the Bakelite furniture on the legit AKs I bought from them, so I'll definitely go STALKER on the ones in this set. The Type 89 is fairly generic in reality, might give this a more chromed look. The SMGs are definitely gonna be brightened up, the MP5 for STALKER purposes and the MP7 because that's probably what the wire I use will look like. KRISS Vector I know nothing about. Looking online, I kinda like their forest and desert matte shades, but there's lots of interesting two-tone designs out there. I dunno, we'll see what happens when I get the paints out.
The more I think about it, the more I'm getting attached to the grenade carbine. With a bit of superglue I could fill in the gaps on it, make it look legit, maybe paint it black and hit it with a drybrush so it looks all Vietnam-ish. But if I do that, then I can't ever stick that grenade launcher on my M4s, and why have them if they're not gonna have boom booms on them?
