Fine, do retro toys but using the intricately detailed designs from Mortal Kombat X makes them look like shitty knockoffs of a better toy.

Kids are too young to know anything about classic MK. Older players don't give a fuck about new designs, and the ones that do have highly superior figures from half a dozen companies that are better sculpted, have better articulation, and overall blow them out of the water for quality.
I really don't understand Funko. They had an ok thing sticking with Pops, just keep doing nerdblackface kitsch, but they seem to be committed to throwing spaghetti at the wall with 100 different products that nobody particularly wants.
