>>6624332If you actually want to play with your voltron, the 13" one is the way to go. The articulation is fine for the black lion since it has electronics in its shoulders and legs. The die-cast black lion has better articulation in its arms and legs but loses articulation in its wings and horns.
The die-cast voltron was pretty much made because someone went "okay we need a cheaper alternative to the larger combining toys while also appeasing to the fans who want a metal toy" and just added die-cast to a sculpt that didn't have the right engineering to support the weight. I only bought the die-cast one because it was smaller.
>>6624317The playmates classic lions is dead on an almost exact copy of the SOC sculpt opposed to how the legendary defender lions were copied from the in-show CGI models. And honestly I'm looking forward to it. The black lion will have electronics too much like the legendary black lion.
