Because Transformers are fucking garbage from a narrative standpoint, I want Diaclone to be in the hands of people who actually know how to develop interesting stories with at the very least some semblance of substance rather than yet making it into another shitty "le pop culture XD" franchise. A Denis Villeneuve film could be a great way to kick off Diaclone in the west.

Isn't TKJ generally the most critically acclaimed one though? I'm not necessarily an avid Batman reader but most people seem to claim it was the peak in terms of writing, even more than DKR. Hell, I honestly can't even disagree either, it's an incredibly tight and well-executed story overall.

TKJ is seen as a great Batman story, one of the best, but DKR is where everything really came together. It's probably the defining Batman story, but TKJ is a close second. But TKJ could've, and would've, never happened without DKR, because DKR was literally what dragged Batman from campy Adam West views in the publics eye, to Darkgrim McGritedge that he is today.

I mentioned it in the first thread to be killed today but I'm glad this is mostly cast in white plastic.
I wanted to make a chess-themed combiner ever since Rook was turned out to be such a stellar figure. I guess I could try giving Streetwise a faceplate to make the knight, then figure out what to use for the pawn and the bishop and look for something to make the head/king after knowing how the combiner head in the Starscream mold is designed.

How tight are the hip ratchets on your artfire?
After mine fell off I took the little piece with the white and red panels and I saw that the outward ratchet was so tight that the gray plastic had large stress marks on it as well as the back and forth ratchets being too tight

Extremely. It seems to be a widespread issue, and only on Artfire. I didn't get Inferno, but my Grapple was fine.

I would recommend taking apart the crotch and dropping some silicone lubricant on the ratchet gears. I used pic-related because I had some in my toolbox, and I can confirm it's safe to use on the plastic with no side-effects. Smoothed everything out real nice.

Outside of Skylynx everyone was vastly different. Ironhide was a pickup, Mirage was not G1 mirage, Trailbreaker was not his normal vehicle mode, Sunstreaker looked very different, Prowl had no door wings, Hound was not his normal jeep self and the Universe 2.0 one still looks more like his G1 self, and Smokescreen didn't look like G1 either. White battle prime was supposed to be a vague reference to star convoy

I actually cancelled my doa xtreme 3 collectors edition right after they sent me the bill by stating I had financial difficulties (really I only just learnt the jp version lacked english subs, I was out of the loop I swear!) and they accepted that.

the left is the 2.0mg which is 100% faithful to the anime with its innerframe being the only modernized aspect, essentially what's happening with modern mp's, some like it, some hate it depending on the cell's design in the first place.

Middle is origin, 100% faithful to what the current anime is having (if only minor), but lets shift from accuracy to just greebles for a moment.

Very much reminds me of current generations class toys, modernized with lots of details but needs additional work to make them work, lots of good gimmicks too, and like those said toys he feels...cheap in hand, but hay that's because he's a model kit priced slightly cheaper than a voyager figure depending on exchange rates, that has an excuse.

The the 3.0 on the right, modernized, like the classics line, we know what it damn well is but it sure as hell ain't from our childhood, can't remember from the top of my head if the 1:1 came out before it but i know the real grade model was before this, detail wise its an acquired taste.

You make the "QC" issues on LG Kup sound worse than they are. The rear wheels are unpainted on purpose, the shin panels are misassembled on literally every Kup figure, and only autists care about it, and the stress marks on the wrists are such a non-issue. TF collectors always loose their mind over stress marks, when 99.9% of the time they never develop into anything more. If that's your idea of "low-ass" QC, you must lose your mind when figures actually have issues like paint flaws or misassembled joints.

I will agree with you about Hasbro Kup, though. I picked him up just to have his weapons and the different head sculpt for LG Kup, but I ended up really liking him on his own merits.

The unpainted rear wheels aren't a QC issue, though, it was a design choice. Takara just used the paint elsewhere because why paint a wheel when 90% of it is hidden anyway? I see your concern with the stress marks, but like I said, it's a big, fat, nothing sandwich. My figure has it. I'm pretty sure most have it, it just doesn't bother me. And they're really not "deep" at all. Your picture shows pretty clearly that they're just on the surface. If they were "deep" you'd be able to see them from the outside of the wrist, too. It's not scary at all, it's just what happens when thin plastic is made to bend a bit, it probably happened during assembly from the hands being snapped in.
