>>6645452The bending is minute, it happens often and wouldn't bother most people because they wouldn't notice, but I do. They don't have enough support where the hinge starts to maintain the shale consistently. If instead one side were double sided and the other a single, centered hinge, we wouldn't have this problem.
There's more than just type A and type B hips now, dude. They've done figma styled hips and the new dbz styled hips. And bruce lee and others have their own mix between the new dbz hips amd the older styled B hips. It's pretty clear that even the figma styled single Y or T bar with soft pelvic piece would've been just fine as most poses barely use the drop down feature on this release. SHF type A hips limit inner thigh swivel range by changing the axis of the rod downward and by moving the hips closer to the crotch, and they often look disjointed and strange because they separate the leg from the pelvis so extremely. You can even offset a figma styled hip joint close towards the front and completely duplicate the same level of range forward without using a soft pelvic piece, but add in the soft pelvic piece ans it's even better, as we see on the wing suit RDs and modern unicorn RDs. Simplicity in articulation means ease of use and it makes for less inconsistent production issues (again, the piece clearly not being assembled all of the way or cracking apart in the one photo isn't a great thing). SHF sora LOOKS great, damn near perfect even, but between the balljointed ankles, the 90 degree bend at the knees with black joints, and weirdly styled neck joint, it's clear its engineering isn't top notch. Better than a normal figma? Definitely, but that doesn't mean it's close to perfect.
