>>6645801If it uses the same upper torso mold as the old Wolf Pred (which it most likely will since there's no reason not to), then it should be fine since I remember mine having a ton of range with the neck articulation.
>>6645787I checked my Serpent Hunter and Celtic Pred again just to make sure and it seems Iike Celtic has better range in the neck (close to the JH molds). So I guess don't sign them off just yet since it could be a case by case thing.
The neck joint on my Serpent Hunter can barely twist/look up though. Taking off the head it seems like the peg just has no room in there and it literally only works as a swivel joint. Best I could do was heat up the neck and push the peg joint out enough so the neck gets morphed to have more allowance for the peg to move. It's definitely huge improvement over the initial neck swivel I was rambling about.
Still, comparing the two molds (AVP and JH), I think that the JH has an inherent advantage in that the neck is sculpted in a slight hunch forward and the wider neck range allows it to look more dynamic in action poses. The problem with the AVP bodies is that the necks are positioned in a relaxed/straight-bodied posture (probably a by-product of how the actual AVP suits looked and functioned). It makes the figure look stiff and combined with the smaller neck range it really doesn't help its case.
