Why is there hardly any fanfare for this line on /toy? With the high quality and the popularity of One Piece I would think there would be regular generals akin to the SHF Dragon Ball or SAS JoJo threads.

I kinda want to get some but the QC issues and price have kept me away. Just for an example, that Zoro looks awesome there but alot of anon's complained about his bandana not being put on correctly at the factory, making him look weird in hand.

This happened to me and I guess it was a common problem, what I did was use a hair dryer on the bandana on and off for about half an hour all the while using tweezers to separate the hair from the bandana. Then it's just a matter of fastening it back on correctly.

It's literally PAK part deux quality wise but with WAN PEE instead of Sqenix shit and just like PAK no one really cares about it here because people only really give a shit if toys are near the common scales of 1/12, 1/6, or 1/18
Not to mention the generals are 99% waifuposting (and apparently complaining about your actual wife judging by the last one) which even the figma or nendoroid generals don't do when they have the most waifu tier shit available

The QC for the line is nonexistent. So long as all the parts are in a box, they'll ship it... except when they don't do that, like with Zoro and his preorder bonus faces.

OK, I thought VAH was more like 1:8 or 1:9 (I posted >>6654264). 1:10 _would_ put you in range of MOTUC and other oversized-because-reasons toys. No idea the Jakks/mattel WWF figures were so big next to Legends/DC.

However. I'd hardly say NECA has lines, in plural. They do alot of one-offs. Same with most Diamond Select "lines." DC Direct is iffy...I would've considered their offerings one line. Almost none of them go on long enough to be considered different like Combiner Wars is "different" from Titans Returns.

Still...VAH chose a weird scale. The market was converging on 1:12 as the common scale between GI Joe and dolls. They should've followed suit, if only to stifle the poorfag screeching that their slightly-higher-than-Figma prices cause.
