Outright lewd!

But yeah, the lack of elbow hinge is a bummer, but it's not as bad as I thought and with the swivel I can just pop in a silver Halo forearm and be good to go. But that GI Joe style torso ball-joint adds so much poseability and expressiveness and the details are great. Some other Mega properties may be better overall (variety, customization, et cetera), but for sheer posing, the T-800's are fun as fuck.

I'm honestly amazed with the sheer creativity present within the customs everyone makes in these generals. I only own the Krang tmnt set myself but seeing all you guys go wild with the limited parts and figures avaliable is definitely making me want to buy more.
Though the MGS customs are awesome I'm supreme mega hasn't bought the license thems elves. I think three ip's everyone on these generals would love to see are wolfenstein,MGS V,and Hellboy.

The parts are from all of Mega's lines. The bodies are from the Halo Yankee Squad marines, some have He-man's/colonial marine arms, the heads range from CoD to Star Trek. I did apply a black wash onto their armors, just to have the details pop from a distance.

It's a little tricky, since the heads tend to be a little too big for modern Mega figs and the plastic has a lot less give as well as a snugger fit, so removing the heads makes it feel like you might break something.

I've been trying to make an updated Wolverine for AGES, but the yellow Mega uses nowadays has too much orange in it compared to what they did back then, so it looks bad. ONE DAY.

IIRC, the weapons are slightly too big, so they'll eventually snap the Mega hands. Not worth it, unfortunately.

Get the heavy borgia soldier sets, they have a mace, a spear, and a painted axe. You can spread the armor around on several figures too.

If you check the OP pic, I used the armor on the knight, the mace and spear on the drones, and the painted axe on the battlemage.

These sets usually go for cheap on Amazon or ebay, you can get a couple and have plenty of weapons.

I also like the tmnt classic villain sets for their ninja weapons, also in the OP

I'd like to thank the anon from the previous thread for telling me about the TMNT Technodrome at Ross for $80.

Had to ride the bus and then walk home, but I got it! Fucking box weighs like 20 pounds, good thing it has a handle. Both my arms and legs are killing me.

Lego stuff outside the LotR stuff is a bit too stylized to fit with Mega's realism.

And like the other anon said, the bars Lego uses is slightly larger than Mega's hands and clips.

I hope other generals are looking over and start trying it out. We'll have a thread where people go nuts with cod bases then everyone contributes some, then people post some tmnt and people start contributing, then there's a destiny leak and people start posting their destiny figs. I've really enjoyed the fantasy figs people have been posting especially because I can't find that shit anywhere. I love the variety and love this community.

They still do on some. The Osiris and Blue team paks had washes. Most of the figures on heroes series 5 have them too, and they look great.

I think having to apply washes to all the different parts could be more expensive than just washing the whole thing.

Osiris, Blue, and Series 5 figs are drybrushed, not washed. Drybrushing highlights the raised areas, while a wash sinks and collects into the sunken areas. Washes are better at drawing attention to specific shapes in the piece, while drybrushes simulate how light interacts with the piece.

Any of the Destiny Sparrows are good, but especially the Cabal ones (big beefy guys) since the others are older and easier to find elsewhere cheap later. Mid-sized sets like Cabal Bruiser Battle or Atheon aren't bad either.

On the left there is the sniper outpost, halo drone attack, and so custom built stuff, the right has 4 of the cargo containers, 2 atlas troop pack terminals, one destiny cabal bruiser battle, one at recon set, custom built radio tower,a dragonfrie drone and I think that's everything

I assume he's saying to claim missing parts from Mega from this set to get them. That's pretty damn scummy. If we suddenly start pulling this on them it wouldn't take them long to realize we're lying to get free parts and possibly stop offering the service. If you're missing parts, ask for them. If you want free parts, tough luck. Ask someone you know for them or just go buy more sets or wait for it to show up in other sets.

Yes I was indeed saying claim missing/malformed/miss placed pieces because some people might not be able to find sets with this piece in it do to poor distribution, and I know it's scummy. I'd prefer if mega had a shop for parts like lego does, but they don't. So I was trying to help people.

I have some of both and found that the smooth lines and bright colors of the lego dinos don't really fit with the detail and muted colors of the mega figures, aside from maybe the older halo figs.

Made a gear minifig, inspired by the Gears customs earlier in the thread. Wish there was a more accurate helmet and more muted blue parts but I think it looks pretty good. Titan Chief is also there because why not?

The top floor and water tower are from Rooftop Combat and the bottom floor is Street Showdown.
