200X line: New versions of He-man and Skeletor that are 2 per case every wave, very few releases of new villian/hero characters. Pegs are flooded with Skeletor and He-man.

MOTUC: Online model was ok, but they started to do the all-in-only subscription route. Then they started to require subscriptions before they even announced all the figures you were agreeing to purchase. Then when people wouldn't play ball, they begged loyal customers to buy more subscriptions (some people buying upwards of 10 subs just to keep the line alive). Just terrible.

The turtles were glorious works of art. Heavily articulated, tons of accessories, each had a unique body sculpt.

I was ok with limited articulation on some of the characters. The only ones that really disappointed me were Metal Head and the Shredders. I remember trying to figure out a way to swap the arms on the Shredders so I could have both knee and elbow joints, but I didn't wanna risk ruining the figure.

It was unfortunate what happened to MU. But MLs started to take over and less and less money was going towards the smaller line and now we have the line that's going now, which just isn't all that great. Hopefully Hasbro tries to reignite their 3 3/4" figures at some point. If they want to make their lesser known properties like Visionaries and MASK work at some point, that's probably the scale to go to. I would argue that for MASK and GIJoe an even smaller line with articulated figures could work (think Mega Construx, or Hexa Gear, or Acid Rain's 2.5" line), though surely most Joe collectors wouldn't appreciate the transition.
