So I noticed these Zodiarts figures are dirt cheap and was wondering if they're not very good figures or just not in super high demand. I really like their designs but I know basically NOTHING about the source material besides what these guys look like and how some of their powers work.

Also, is there any chance of the other six getting actual articulated figures, or are they just going to be doomed to statues forever?

Any idea why they're so cheap? I'm sort of new to Japanese toy companies so I might just be off, but most Figuarts/Figma/Revoltech figures I see are at LEAST $50 when they're new, and often a lot more than that. So these guys' prices were one of the first things that drew me to them.

I believe they are really quite old by Figuart standards. I saw a bunch of them in Japan, made me realise just how many interesting older figuarts are at bargin prices.

So I shouldn't be too worried that they're built poorly or something? I only have a few figures from these three companies and they've had radically varying quality, and I can't really find much of ANYTHING about these in particular.

They're fucking great. Great sculpts, decent articulation, and a steal at the current price. Japan just can't into villains, which is crazy because they have so many cool kaijin designs that don't get made into figures, because those that do shelfwarm.

Typically SHF's run for about 4-5k so about 10 less then that normally.
And the reason why is the figures are 6 years old, the other Fourze SHF's are just as cheap.
Doesn't help 2/3 of them were lame in series and the actual good zodiarts were all figuarts zero.
Worth the price, and Fourze is a great series also worth your time.

I bought Virgo on Amazon for around $30 shipped, and the others were pretty comparable. I think the most expensive one was like... almost at $40 shipped?

And since I'm Japanese toy retarded I'm sure there's some Japanese site I didn't find where you can get them even cheaper.

He's a fancy royalty type of character. The figure itself is rather aged, like all imagen.
Basically a good monster that possesses the main character to give him a different form.
Hold out for Shinocko seiho stuff I'd say. Especially for Den-O stuff like the Imagen.
In fact a SS NASCA from W was shown off a while back ontop of a few normal SHF shocker kaijin from the original '71 series.
There's Shiomaneking and Garagaranda here ontop of supposedly an Inkadevil that was shown off at an event a few months back.

Man, I was just thinking of grabbing Nasca and Weather cheap to go with W and Skull, but now I wonder if I should hold off. Skull is gorgeous and I'm still waiting on W, but expect the same of him.

While Nasca is kind of alright weather and the rest are small and again, we're getting SS stuff so it isn't even worth the 1.3k nasca goes for on mandarake.

All of them will probably be premium bandai. Probably just major villains too unless they sell gangbusters.
Like Daguva's SS which already released last year. Which so far is the only Gurongi SS.

Yeah, with shipping and all it was only like 5300yen when is about $47. Mind you I always try to use Small Packet when buying overseas because I'm cheap and don't mind waiting. Manda's always packed things amazingly for me in the past, so I'm not worried.
