>>6682728>>6682715It sounds like you don't have much meaningful purpose outside of your favorite brands. Being a Transformer fan means you have to be into the toys before all else, because all else is barely worth anything. If you feel like you need other people to validate your interests, then you have a problem with yourself. Yeah, there are going to be tons of people who only like something because muh chilhood, and lots of stuff will be made to pander to them, but there's always going to be stuff that has what you want being made. You just have to be diligent and comfortable enough with yourself to hunt it down yourself.
I don't buy everything a company makes because I'm attached to a brand name, and if that's what you're doing then you need to walk away from Transformers for a bit. I buy be it Digimon, Macross, Megazords, and Transformers because I'm a guy who like transforming figures. I've bought only a handful of figures this year because I didn't like what was coming out. It doesn't mean that the franchise is dead and nothing will ever be good again, just that I get more money for what I'll eventually like. If you want to be a supportive proactive consumer, then do that. Look for older figures, check out the 3p scene, go onto shapeways, get a new hobby, but don't get attached to a brand. In the end, you're buying this shit for you, so make sure it's what you want.
