i mean they will get acces to legos and my old kenner millenium falcon should they show an interest in such things, should they be sportsheads i will provideém with the proper gear , but no fucking way am i letting anyone under 10 yrs near my gunpla ( and that includes adults that are functional manchilds with butterfingers and no respect for other´s property )

Ill give the nieces/nephews the "toybox" filled with random blind bag shit gift funko pops, mls and the like. If I catch them reaching for my Shfs, necas or gunpla, I tend smack the shit out of thier hands that way they know not to go for them if they come around again.

My kid has Star Wars stuff, steals my 12” Spider-Man from my desk, and is very interested in most of my figures but he understands that a lot of them are delicate and can break, so he leaves them alone. He’s 2. When he’s older he can play with whatever he wants.

I don't have kids but my younger siblings (6 and 8) are generally interested in my toys, i left for a short vacation, and came home to a shit show, needless to say I had a long and stern conversation, letting them know what they can and can't touch (spoilers it's nothing) and when I get anything new, I show them, and tell them not to touch.

it depends on the kid , if you teach them to play without treating the toys like fukking bricks ( unless they are bricks , duh) there should be no trouble at all , but that implies that you spend enough time near the child to asses his level of intelectual development, thats the factor that ensures that a toy survives or not someones childhood ( a whole different tale is the accesories )

My son (7) is mostly into plushes of videogame characters because youtube videos.

He shows no interest in my figures or lego at all. Kinda happy about the first, but the second is kinda disappointing because it would be cool if we could build together.

Some, but not all. I mostly collect Joes and anime shit. Would probably let them play with the 2002-2006 Joes, since they're both sturdy and cheap to replace. Maybe when they get older let them play with some other shit. Lego of course would also be an option. Kids can't hurt lego, right?

When they are the right age, in the mean time, still have my old Great Adventure playsets and plushes for em. But by the time their old enough, I doubt they'll be interested in my stuff, and if they are, I'll show them how to make models.

I've ammounted a box full of my favorite Star Wars Toys, the ones I had that my dad gave me as a kid. I have a Red and a Blue Lightsaber, a stuffed Wampa, a few Ship figurines (I think they were Action Fleet), a shit ton of Galactic Heroes (including the falcon and an Xwing), a few other assorted toys, a Kenner AT-AT, and when they're ready, all the original Kenner figures (mint condition).
