>>6691207I misremembered their values now that I am calculating them out again. I was only remembering the more basic values on some of them. All of them came with basic colors so they didnt factor into value, but I should point out that by normally building a saber you have to pay $10 to upgrade to the heavy grades, while grab bag you can choose whichever without a price change. So that means that is an immediate extra $10 value to whatever blade you might get. Also you can't choose size, they all come standard length which matters for the cheapest value i got.
Cheapest was a Dark Apprentice LE V4. I guess due to it's age it was part of some initiate saber grouping that meant that it by default comes with a short initiate blade but you must pay an extra $10 to have the bigger sizes despite that not being a thing on the other handles. Then it also had window vents on the emitters, which is an extra $5 for a total of $25, final result was a $89.99 saber.
the other two ended up being the same value after calculated. The Prophecy V3 is the most valuable base saber of the group, had nothing special added to it, so only an extra $10 value added from the blade for $109 saber. My brother actually painted all the raised portions black and it looks like a proper saber with that color contrast there.
the other $109 is mine and is a Liberator V3. The only thing special about it is a silver noniluminated AV switch instead of the guarded switch which is an extra $15 for a total of $25 extra value to the base saber if you ordered it yourself.
Now obviously the Liberator is a 'Mag Light' like you said, but honestly? part of why I wanted it. Because I been looking into acid etching, and that smooth undetailed shaft is a perfect canvas to get in an awesome Maori warrior tattoo style pattern or similar etched into the full length. Havent had the time to get around to starting to serious plan out my process or even design, but I think it will be awesome when I get to it.
