Right now there's just definitely a nice new luster to them since this has been their first proper year of releases, where as 2015 and 16 had a relative few releases. I think the price increase definitely has a lot to due with them buying more and more licenses, and movie licenses probably are more costly than the comic licenses for batman and Dredd. I will say it does sound kinda fucked up since the extra 15 is probably going into funding future releases more than anything, but again, I'm still in the honeymoon period and its a smaller company so I understand why prices would fluctuate.
I didn't praise figmas, its just that, despite the price increase,I still get just about what I expect from every release.I'm way more willing to give leeway to something that does just adequately rather than something that tries something more extravagant and ultimately fails.
SHF is actually one of my favorite lines if anything, Its just that this particular year I wasn't really impressed by anything they did except sHFSS. Its not that they're terrible, its just that I wanted them to be better, because I know they can be.
