Get yourself a pin vise if you don't already have one.
Get a standard wire shirt hanger, and a pair of pliers with wirecutters.
Using your pin vise, select a drill bit the same diameter or slightly larger than your hanger's wire diameter, and drill a hole into the tail, and into the body, where the tail attaches.
Cut a section of wire from the hanger to fit in both holes.
Preferably using a clear-drying glue, glue the wire into the two holes, mating the tail with the body.
