>>6701953All of this is true. Hasbro is shifting to a shorter cycle since Generations is now split between the G1 redeux and the Studio Series lines. What we got as "Warriors" in RID will now be part of Generations as well, so they're bigger than the RID toys. Basically, retailers dont want three separate lines of standard toys and two separate lines of kid's gimmick toys, Cyberverse and the movie stuff.
So Generations will be the branding for ALL of the standard style Transformers. The gimmick stuff will all share their own marketing style.
That does mean that each subseries will be shorter than before. Next year's Generations will have 3 waves of the G1 Redeux, 2 waves of movie toys and 2 waves of Cyberverse "warriors". They'll all be split across the various size classes. Generations get the smallest scales, plus the Titan class. Movie and G1 will split the Leaders scale. Deluxe and Voyager will be split between the three series.
Don't ask me about the gimmick toys. That's a different design team.
