>>6712164It was a bad cartoon from a bad animation studio. Nothing about it was remotely original, it was copying 80s glam music outfits(only the characters were women, instead of men who looked like women) and the "rock" music was abysmal synth pop. Then when Hasbro found out one of their planned band names was used by an actual band, they told the band to go fuck themselves instead of doing the right thing and simply changing it.
The plot was fucking stupid, someone uses a billion dollar supercomputer to change clothes and she's so useless she lets some bitch pick on her and cheats on her boyfriend with her other self. The lead character has no backbone at all. Ditch the guy who is proven to be unfaithful. Impersonate the bitch(as you apparently have the means to change your entire physical appearance to literally goddamned anything), hold a press conference and say highly offensive shit to humiliate them. These recurring villains should have been a one time deal, this series did not need villains.
I'd almost believe the whole thing- including the later Nazi Aryan band- was some sort of parody, but the lead writer was a nutjob feminist and the whole series loved depicting men as garbage. It's weird seeing Marv Wolfman in the writing credits for this piece of shit, the guy created Blade, what did he need the money or something to pay off a debt and would work literally anything?
The move failed not because of changes, but because the franchise is dead, forgotten and basically a piece of shit that only SJWs continue to think fondly of. If it were accurate the majority would still think ti was a terrible film, because it would be. The goddamned IDW comics ramped up the SJW shit a lot but it was already largely there in the old cartoon.
>wishes those troll posts of a movie with the black neo-Nazi antagonist had been true, at least that would have been watchable>>6712128>Unlike Hasbro, Mattel is content to leave their past behindInhumanoids & COPS, anyone?
