Nyguyen Van Lem admitted to have worked for the Vietcong and has commited warcrimes and was shortly afterwards shot by the policechief. During the early time of the Vietnam war there was no time for trials, so the chief acted in a rather anarchistic way, shooting the man for his spoken words on the open streets, then walked away without looking at the corpse again.
