My UW Defensor and Megatronia have the same bad floppy hips as any US version of the mold I own. Both my Dust Up and Flowspade came out of unopened boxes with bad scratches in the windshield paint. Lynx Master has tight hips, which may be a QC variation but the shoulders do not lock in either, they move just as easily as my Liokaiser set. The only reason I got it is because Sky Lynx is still scalper bait and US Ratchet is Botcon exclusive.
Superion doesn't feel much different aside from paint choices. I only opted for that as US Quickslinger sells for over $100 and I wanted the white hands, as I don't use PE's crappy hands.
Bruticus is a mix, but UW Brawl's back end would not sit flush with the arms in tank mode and would fall apart in leg mode too easily while CW fit nicely.
Grand Galvatron is decent though why is Cyclonus blue? Ghost Starscream is a pretty bad floppy mess though, and it's clear bits so I worry about cracking.
Groove, Blast Off & Devastator's enhancements were likely to say "fuck you" to Hasbro to make fans happy, but they did cheap out bad on Quickslinger & Wildrider. Even then their own efforts into CW were little. I would not count on a 2-bot torso for Liokaiser anytime soon, nut unless they can use the molds for Monstructor.
Tomy(and I call them that because Takara died years ago) is probably switching to Hasbro versions for budget reasons. Sales might not be strong enough in Japan to warrant that extra paint anymore.
I can just imagine Raiden coming out and being 4 retools because neither Hasbro nor Tomy will give a fuck to make something unique. 1 Hot Spot retool as a train, 4 Vortex retools as smaller bullet trains. Trust me, it'll be that or nothing at all.
