Tank Robots

I'm not into transformers or robots in general, but I wanted to get a tank that transform into a robot
What options do I have?
I know about the bad guy tank in the bayformers movie, but what other figures of tank robots exist?
Also any good tank (not robot) there is outside of plamo/model kits=

how big are you looking for?
there's a large Megatron that came out recently that also turns into a jet.
the same mold was used for Blitzwing a bit earlier.
for medium size: a few years ago there was a scifi tank called Tankor, and a few before that an H-tank called Warpath (a fancy 3rd-party version pictured above).also Megatron had a medium/small hover tank with a giant cannon.
for small tanks there was a fairly realistic one called Guzzle a couple movies ago

It's well known in the 3rd party community that that figure looks amazing from pics, but has a fuckton of engineering flaws. They released a banzaitron version with some fixes to the hips, but there's still too many problems.

Seconding this Warpath. Easily the cheapest thing in the thread, but man he's really good for his price point.

The tanks by MMC are also good. I love that third party company.

He's Warpath from the Generations line. Retailed for $15, probably costs a bit more than that on the secondary market.

He's got repaints but they were convention and fan club exclusives, so I have no clue what they'd cost these days.

btw for official transformers tfwiki.net is good for checking if a toy has repaints; just look for the character and then check under their toy sections.

Good luck finding any of MMC's tanks for retail. They are excellent though.

The DNA tank has a recolor that's coming out with improvements. If you wait you can see how that turns out.

There are a ton of decent transformers tanks from the main lines. Warpath is probably the best and cheapest example.

If you want futuristic hover tanks there's a new Megatron by Planet X that's from one of the video games.

Badcube also has a warpath but he's a bitch and a half to transform.

Pic related is from Zeta Toys. It's an unofficial Brawl that is part of a combiner, but he transforms into a great looking tank and has working treads. Most importantly he's big and won't break the bank at $60 and is coming out next month. If you just want a good tank figure this might be it.

And, while not exactly what you were asking for, keep an eye on machination studios, who build actual walking tank model kits, with various moving parts. They're pretty early in development, but have a lot of potential.

Or you can go for the figure that Susanoo is based on: ROTF Bludgeon or Banzaitron. Much cheaper but very poseable and still realistic as a tank. Love this guy.
