Any chance of all this new stuff resulting in some figures? There are a few Mazingers as far as I know (although I'd love figures of the actual characters) but there aren't really any Devilman or Cutie Honey figures.

I think if Devilman Crybaby keeps picking up steam and word of mouth and the ratings check out, it'll happen sooner or later. I just hope it won't be figma, I'm tired of getting excited for a figure, then 2 years later when it's finally released after delays and delays to prioritize school girls, it's nowhere close as good as the prototype.

There are actually quite a few Devilman figures.
Just none that look like the manga design.
Most of them are based on the movie, 70's anime, or Apocalypse for some reason.
Crybaby sounds like it makes some ridiculous changes to the characters and plot but I would love a figure of It's almost manga style Devilman look.

I am too much of a stickler for the classic look to actually own any of them.
The VAH looks cool but I hear it is pretty fragile.
If I had to get one currently on the market it would be that one.

That one doesn't look bad but the supposed fragility of it alongside the price makes me rather hesitant.

There was a Takeya sculpt displayed as a Figma at one point that looked pretty neat despite being rather far from Nagai's. Pic related. Nothing has come of it, though.

It's a little more generic demon than Devilman usually is, but I suspect a lot of the usual design cues would come out stronger with paint.

The whole thing barely reads Devilman to me and I hate his headsculpt, back kibble and codpiece.
Even if the colors turn out well I can't see myself picking this one up.
