>>6720485Legends isn't completely dead as evidenced by Fan's choice figures Revan and Jaina, Shadow Guard, Crimson Stormtrooper and the 3 inch Royal Guard keeping the Crimson Empire training gear. But they sure make less than previously.
I am content waiting for a re-release since 100$ per figure is too abnormal for my taste.
If I were to buy a Dark Trooper it would be the 8$ Phase 2 from that guy in Macau selling factory stuff on Ebay.
TVC is coming back and while the Dark Trooper doesn't fit on that type of card it could still get a re-release in a box similar to the figure two-packs or a vehicle, probably they will ditch the current Black Series packaging in the near future and maybe bring back Build-a-droid.
I don't think that Disney has a mandate specifically blocking old EU stuff, I think it ties in with Hasbros artificial rarity plan hyping people up for a TVC re-release by releasing less figures and making the other 3 inch lines worse in every regard so they can come and charge more for a renewed TVC.
The Legends label exists specifically to leave the possibility open to make profit on stuff from the old EU, would be stupid of them to disregard it for all eternity. They just want to focus Star Wars on their new movies and when that is done in a couple of years they will start experimenting again.
